FROM DR. GRANT AND MARINA BRENNER
Please find following our letters of recommendation for Sue, who has been working for us as baby nurse in the last 3 weeks. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
I unhesitatingly recommend Sue as a baby nurse. She has deep, rich experience caring for multiples and is keenly attuned to the newborn - a true "Baby Whisperer".
She gently and deftly put the babies on a feeding/sleeping schedule - and within days, our two were already sticking to the schedule and steadily gaining weight. She is naturally organized and pragmatic, and established routines which made life much easier in the immediate post-partum period, and did so with a great attitude, work ethic, and collaborative and flexible style.
In addition, Sue is a certified instructor in infant CPR and First Aid. She offers classes for other baby nurses as well as parents.
She is warm and just so pleasant to be with. Anyone who can get her will find your investment well spent.
Marina Brenner
I'm Marina's husband, a psychiatrist, psychoanalyst and consultant in NYC. I'd like to second Marina's endorsement and add that Sue is also a skillful consultant for home organization, an essential ingredient for smoothly meeting the challenges of multiples. She has made useful suggestions for re-configuring our home space to make it more accommodating and efficient for babies and adults alike.
Furthermore, she is intellectually astute, curious and has a thirst for any knowledge, which will help her continue her quest of being a truly superb baby nurse.

FROM ANAT AND BOAZ
As first time parents, we were thrilled to learn the news that we were having twins to start our family! Shortly after we learned we were to be parents to twins, we realized we had too many questions. What are the do’s and don’ts and the if’s & buts ? We are first time parents without immediate family members around to assist nor guide us where help is needed most with our son, more so to get a night sleep with two babies.
Our dream was to provide the best foundation for the babies, getting them on a schedule, sleeping through the night, breast feeding 100%, keeping them comfortable and soothing them when they cried. But how? Our fear is how to deal and understand their tender needs, how to handle and interact with them, how to know when they are filled and how to nurture them enough. Our babies were fine until we discovered that our little boy was breach & he stayed breach until birth. We were told that he would need hip socket sonograms ultrasound to confirm that all is well for his development. He would need to wear a foot-cast for a few weeks to adjust his club- foot problem and that scared us.
Our babies arrived in October November 2009. We interviewed many prospective baby nurses qualified with no answers to questions from my husband and me & then we found Sue. Sue’s phenomenal experience surpassed many, addressing our concerns before we even had to ask; Things every first time parent needs to know before birth and years beyond. Sue is talented above and beyond our needs, feeding, milestones evaluations, lactation and nutrition help, calm and gentle hands with the babies, Sue stayed with us for one priceless month. Having Sue there with us as we started our family not only empowered us with confidence and assurance, Sue patiently guide us step by step to do every thing the right way, we were overwhelmed with our son laid up in bed with his foot in a cast. Sue gave him a special therapy bath that helped him to cope with the mobility of his legs when the cast was removed at different stages. She works miraculously with infants who need special help at the right time due to their physical needs.
Our favorite amazement was when she laid both babies on a pillow to feed them together, Sue kept them both close so they see and nurture each other, Sue talked to them all the time, She kept them together; and got them to sleep together at the same time. She is the kind of baby nurse any first time parent would be lucky to have for their multiple babies. Sue always seemed to understand their language and able to calm our twins with a magic touch. She has been more than a nurse to this family and will always be in our hearts. We are so grateful for Sue’s support and skills.
Our only disappointment was to let her go to her next assignment. Please feel free to contact me at anytime for more information.

RECEIVED JULY 2010
FROM WENDY AND MAC
My husband and I had twins in July of 2010. We hired Sue to help us adjust and teach us how to take care of our two little babies since we were first time parents. In addition, we relied on Sue to guide me with breast-feeding and help with post partum healing. Sue has 18 years of diverse experience taking care of multiples. Her qualifications are exceptional around our twins. Nothing goes unnoticed as to the type of infant skin rashes, each kind of sound the baby’s makes include their cries are distinguished. She talked to the twins constantly and the twins just love it. Watch her feeding the babies and nurture them together is fantastic. We knew when we hired Sue we were going to be in good hands and we were not going to have to worry. It was money well spent.
Sue put our twins on a schedule that worked well for them from the start and made life easier for us. She developed a routine that consisted of feeding, sleeping, bathing and tummy time that put structure to our twin’s day. She guided us with how much formula to give and when to increase it so our twins gained weight and thrived. She was very nurturing and caring with our babies and she always knew how to calm them down.
Sue also provided excellent post partum healing. When I was breastfeeding I developed mastitis and she provided different remedies so it would quickly go away. In addition, she took care of the babies so I could get enough rest and recover from the c-section.
Sue also took a lot of pictures of the babies, came with us to pediatrician appointments and helped organize the nursery, sterilized and refill the bottles for each feeding. She was just a pleasure to have in our home.
Sue is constantly advancing her education in newborn development, premature childcare and lactation. She is an expert in her field.
Overall, having Sue with us made our first six weeks of our twin’s lives very manageable and enjoyable. We had nothing to worry about. We learned so much from her. We are forever grateful for Sue’s guidance and professional care.
Sincerely,
Wendy Mac, Micheal jr. Avery.

FROM SUSAN, ERIC, AVA, & WYATT
My husband and I had twins in Nov. 2009 and we hired Sue to help us adjust and teach us to care for our two little miracles. Sue taught us what we needed to know to welcome our babies into our lives with love and proper care.
We were first time parents and Sue’s knowledge and abilities really put us at ease. Having Sue there with us as we started our family empowered us and calmed our nerves when we were overwhelmed. Our twins exhibited colicky symptoms and when they cried, Sue knew just what to do. And if what she tried didn’t work at first, then she would keep problem solving until she found the solution and she taught us to view each problem in this way. Sue always had another trick up her sleeve and used her skills to provide the best care for our babies. Our favorite technique was laying both babies on a pillow back to back so that they could feel each other… when they were upset, this always seemed to calm them and it was an amazing thing to witness every time.
Sue put our babies on a schedule that seemed to work well for them from the very start. Not only did it make life easier for us, but also it gave the babies a sense of control that helped keep them calm. She developed a routine that consisted of feeding, sleeping, bathing and tummy time throughout the day and we made sure we maintained this consistency so that the twins thrived. Sue conducted milestone evaluations routinely as well. She introduced us to our nighttime ritual, which we still have in place. She helped us organize the nursery and keep track of what we needed at what times. When our twins both developed yeast infections, Sue helped us identify this as different from diaper rash and instructed us on how to get rid of the infection with home first aid. She accompanied us to the first pediatrician appointments and told us what to watch out for and expect when the twins started their vaccines.
In all, having Sue with us made the first two months of our twin’s lives something to enjoy and treasure instead of a time to stress and fret. We are so grateful for Sue’s guidance and care.

FROM ANJII, GAURAV, ANOUSHKA & ANNIKA
Sue was the baby nurse for our twin daughters for 3-months of 08. We could not be more grateful for Sue's warm, wonderful and highly professional care. We had gone through some serious complications after the delivery and were worried about how we were going to take care for the babies while at the same time helping mom recover.
Sue made it her concern. She not only took charge of the babies but also helped mom by allowing her to get urgent rest and sleep from the post partum healing. She also performed ice cold water compresses using a bath towel. Her icebath treatment of mom's feet turned out to be a real miracle. Her feet and legs were swollen after delivery complications for about two weeks.
Sue was magic with the babies! She had them finishing their bottles so that their weight gain was strong. She started with a 31/2-hour feeding schedule but had them on a 4-hour feeding schedule shortly after. Sue also gave the babies a special uteral baths starting a few days after we came home from the hospital. The little babies loved it – they literally would fall asleep floating in the water. Sue also has a special way in which she talks to the babies. She is loving and she is funny! We are amazed at how she keeps them engaged and calms them down. Sue also taught us many things and gave us a lot of tips as new parents. One thing she taught us is the importance of creating a nigh-time ritual and sticking to it. We began to read to the twins and compiled a CD that we played each night. Sue had us doing this from just a few weeks out of the hospital. She is immaculately organized and could cook too.
Sue understands babies and has a special connection to them– she always knew what to do when they cried. We were always amazed. Sometimes she would say "swaddle them", other times "swing them", and at other times she would say "just talk to them" and they would always calm down. We would highly recommend Sue. She will always be an important part of our lives and has given our twin baby girls a priceless start.

FROM MIKE, LISA, JAMES & HENRY
Sue lived with our family for five weeks on the arrival of our sons, Henry and James. We would give any new parents of multiples the highest possible reference for her. Simply put, we are weeks ahead of where we would have been without her and I’m not sure how we would have made it through. She is a total expert with multiples and provided us with valuable insight.
First, Sue showed us techniques in dealing with twins. She taught us how to feed them both at the same time, how to bathe and massage them, how to set our house up and how to watch out for danger signs.
Second, Sue took on a large amount of the workload including the feedings at night. This alone made the difference between make and break for us. Getting seven hours sleep with one-week old children is unheard of.
Third, Sue kept us calm, comfortable and confident that our children were okay. As new parents, we jumped at every unusual noise or movement. Just having her there made our first five weeks as parents a special and pleasurable experience; and not a frightening challenge!
Fourth, Sue has also become a good friend who still checks with us regularly and is still more than happy to give us advice when we get nervous about one of our boys. Having her live with us was fun! She is an excellent cook of mixed cuisine at dinnertime. We are happy to refer her to anyone. Please ask for our contact details and we will be happy to provide a verbal reference.
Good luck!

FROM ERIC, CARLA, CHARLES & CONRAD
My special compliments to this wonderful lady who is no longer a stranger to my children and family. Sue was our baby nurse on and off for a total of six (6) weeks a year ago. What a GREAT experience!
Sue was just amazing! Our son, Conrad, has food allergies, colic, and very bad reflux. Sue came in when he was a week old and made us feel very at ease. She instinctively knew what to do, and has the ability to mix easily into a family without adding stress at an already stressful time.
Although I was an experienced mother, Sue taught me things that I had really never known about babies. For example, she taught me how to "read" a baby – his cues, his needs and most importantly, his routine. She organized Conrad’s room so it was better for my baby and myself.
Having Sue around gave me a sense of relief and a much-needed rest, which I did not have with the other boys. I wish I had known "Sue, The Baby Nurse" before so she could have taken care of the other children. She is a real baby whisperer!!!

FROM NEAL, LISA, CARY, & BETRYS
Sue helped us settle at home with our newborn twin girls. It is truly a privilege to have met her. She is the kind of nurse that any first-time parent would like to employ. She taught us the following – bathe the babies at the right temperature, watch the babies fell asleep in the bathtub instead of seeing traumatized, unhappy babies on their first bath. The bath instantly lulls them back to the eutoro watery stage – a phenomenal spectacle to watch.
Sue made the transition very easy with her calming manners and the wonderful experience of looking after twins, and comforting our girls. She gave us a lot of advice and helpful hints. Another bonus was she makes great roties! My only wish is that Sue could have stayed with us longer!

FROM A WESTWOOD, NEW JERSEY FAMILY
What a pleasure and incredible learning experience it was to have Sue care for our boys and teach us so much soon after the twins were born! Coming highly recommended by an acquaintance, Sue made herself available through email and the phone throughout my pregnancy; including some trying times.
Sue's knowledge of twins is unparalleled. She brought her care and expertise to our home, which allowed for a smooth transition as we welcomed the babies into the world. She was supportive in all areas – umbilical care, miracle bathing, briss care, nursing care, perfect temperature bath, taking pictures to document their early days, and educating us on how to best meet the needs of our children when they first arrived.
Sue helped us organize the babies’ space and time so that they were on a predictable routine. This makes it easier to understand what the babies were asking for whether it is food, sleep, or nurturing. This also gives us time to rest and recuperate.
We are thankful for Sue and her time with us because it helped us to step in the right direction. She was an invaluable part of our first month with our babies.
Advance preparation is a factor to save critical time & confusion with multiples. What our boys needed most was love, nurturing, food, people understanding their messages, preparation for feeding and bathing organized nursery station and a calm environment. Sue brought this all to our home. Thanks!

FROM MARK, JEANNE, CHASE & ALEXIS
Picture this setting: Two premature babies – Alexis and Chase – home together from the hospital for only 24 hours. Alexis was discharged first and was home for 34 hours of which Sue guides us on how to increase her feeding step-by-step from her home a thousand miles away, while Chase was crying uncontrollably and wouldn't finish his bottle.
Then, Sue enters our house for the first time from the airport, puts her luggage down, puts her hands out and asks for the tiny baby boy. Instantly, Sue calms him and within a short period of time, she helps Chase finish his bottle. All of a sudden, it occurred to me that Sue is, indeed, a Baby Whisperer.
My husband and I are first-time parents of premature twins. Sue's knowledge and eighteen years of experience as a Certified Baby Nurse have been invaluable to us. Her loving and nurturing ways have had an amazing effect on the twins and our entire family.
An amazing accomplishment due to Sue is during the first week. She had the twins on a three and a half-hour schedule and by the end of her stay they were on a four-hour feeding schedule. Both Chase & Alexis’ weight gain were tremendous! On their first checkup, our pediatrician was amazed at the progress our babies had made and insists that, instead of every two weeks, there is no reason to return until their first shots were due.
Sue has many techniques to organize the parents and keep their babies happy. She miraculously teaches us how to pick up and hold the babies without getting nervous. She taught us how to function just as we did before our new additions. She stresses the importance of the simplest tasks and makes difficult tasks look easy. Below are some of Sue’s techniques.
First, Sue charts the babies’ wet diaper changes and feedings in order to analyze their weight gain. Second, she demonstrates how a Special Temperature Hot Therapy Bath is totally calming and relaxing with infant massage therapy.
Third, she organizes the babies' changing tables to include everything needed for cleaning and changing the babies' diapers. No chemicals are needed, only soap, cotton balls, quilted squares, water, Viva towel chopped in 6x6 squares, Aquaphor after each diaper changed for her 5 weeks stay.
Sue’s years of diverse experience are of tremendous help, especially her medical knowledge on breast-feeding and mastitis. She has also taught us how to pick up and hold delicate premature infants using only one hand securely while the other hand is free for feeding. She also took note that the infants’ weight plays a very urgent role as to the intake of formula or breast milk.
With Sue's guidance we were able to care for Alexis and Chase easily, stress-free and confidently.
