Here is a summary of courses now being offered by the Nubirth Agency:

  1. ADVANCED BABY NURSE CERTIFICATION
    This course provides the student with 20 hours of baby nurse instruction. The graduate achieves an Advanced Certificate of Achievement.

    The fee for the course is $400 payable by money order, cashier check or personal check (personal checks require clearance).

    The class is presented in English at this time but will soon be available in Spanish, Hindi, Arabic, and Tagalogue as well.

    Required Books:
    The Baby Book by Dr. William Smith and Martha Stuart.
    The Preemee Parents Companion by Suzan Madden
  2. ADVANCED BABY NURSE MULTIPLE CERTIFICATION
    This course provides the student with 20 hours resulting in an Advanced Multiple Certification for Twins, Triplets and Quadruplets.

    The course is offered in both English and Spanish. Hindi and Arabic will be available in the near future.

    The fee for the course is $650 payable by money order, cashier check or personal check (personal checks require clearance).

  3. POSTPARTUM DOULA SUPPORT CERTIFICATION OF MERIT
    This course covers 20 hours of classes.

    The fee for the course is $400 payable by money order, cashier check or personal check (personal checks require clearance).

    The course is offered in English at the present time.

    Overcoming Postpartum Depression Anxiety by Lynda Sebastian
  4. NANNY COMPANION AID SUPPORT CERTIFICATION
    A 20 hour class to enable the student, upon graduation, to work as a live in or visiting Nanny.

    The fee for the course is $375 payable by money order, cashier check or personal check (personal checks require clearance).

  5. VOLUNTEER BIRTH DOULA
    Please call for an appointment for this class well in advance. Opening fill rapidly.
  6. SPECIAL: "MOTHER AND ME" — A HOME BASED CLASS WITH HANDS ON TRAINING
    This instruction is special for Sue and her qualified associate, Mr. Erick Knapp, provides it in your New York City area home to first time mothers, dads, grandparents, aunts and anyone who will share the responsibilities for being the caregiver to newborn infants.

    This class is an eye-opener for any caregiver-to-be!
    With experience such as 18 years working with babies involving over 50 sets of twins, five sets of triplets, and well over 60 singleton infants, Sue is more than qualified to prepare and guide a new infant caregiver for the tasks that lie ahead.

    Each informational, one-on-one class or session requires 4 hours.
    Fees range from $100 per person, $175 per couple, and each additional attendee is $75
