All of Sue’s eleven books and poems had been written in rugged manuscript and stored for years. Unfortunately, in 1990, heavy rainfall caused floodwaters combined with debris to overflow into her apartment lobby floor – ankle-deep – totally destroying everything she owns.

Sue relates that she can still remember the stench that smelled of her personal belongings – including the manuscripts that were all virtually unsalvageable. Because of this distressing occurrence, she thought that writing was not her destiny. However, she knows that the materials she has written would inspire today and tomorrow’s children and would help them endure and survive difficult struggles in life.
When she thought of the children, Sue immediately realized

that she has lost only the manuscripts but not her brain. Right there and then, she has decided that she should continue writing. She is well aware that her writing skills are still waiting to be developed, but I it should not stop her from honing her capabilities and carrying out the things that she loves to do.

These are the things that fueled Sue to rewrite her manuscripts – all of it – which caused all her hard work and patience to pay off after a few years.

It never actually dawned on Sue that, in her lifetime, the manuscripts would ever be accepted by publishers, as it had frequently been regarded as immaterial. It never occurred to her that it will ever be penned into books that would reach out to help the children with cleft palate, kids suffering with Neuroblastoma, children starving for a plate of food (via UNICEF), and saving wildlife (via World Wildlife Fund). Little did she know that, just as she had envisioned, her books would become an empowering tool for children in dealing with difficult events and surviving the difficult times.

Sue is a Ceritified Baby Nurse and a published author of children’s books and poems. She is well-known throughout the tri-state region for her expertise with infants and for her ability to work with families of multiples during the difficult first few months of parenthood. She donates to UNICEF and WWF from the proceeds of the sales of her books internationally.

I live it, I walk with it and relive it daily

May you ask what prompt me to write the eleven books at hand? From early child hood growing up among eleven siblings, my entire life centered a round an alcoholic and abusive alcoholic drunk for a father, My mother often beaten before our eyes by dad, children beaten before each other presence. The quest for food to suffice hunger, A perfect spot to sleep when rain is pouring through the sun scorched roof weaved from palm leaves. The desperate need for medication while death is wrapping at the front door for a dying infant siblings and others. When money is urgently to buy a white shirt and uniform for school but converted to buy ingredients for a plate of food. I lived it, I felt it, I survived it, I walk with it daily until this present day. my entire existence is clothed with it, I struggled to set all my siblings free from the enslavement of poverty with just that one chance give to me. now it is time not only to tell it but to reach out for those who are less fortunate in the same troubled generation.

Now that the books are finished and ready for the world to know what I am    expecting to accomplish: My dream is of becoming a part of UNICEF. United nation children funds, to reach out for the less fortunate children who are in need, misplaced, destitute and devastated by flood, Earthquakes, Wars, Food shortages, Vaccinations just to name a few then I could tell the world that my job is done from my example.

Why I think that these books are and will be an inspiration to the young children of all ages? The books are tailored in multifaceted aspects to help children and parent how to survive living under critical situation and are struggling with very little or no financial resources. It serves as a brain fuel for reading, nothing comes easy in a loveless world and never will, choose your friends wisely and do not become victims to peer pressures and stranger.

Work hard for the things urgently needed in a financially unstable system and not the-me- first attitude. Think positive, Do not leave home without securing your where about to a friend. The safety and welfare of children among people whose eyes are very treacherous and still more, each publication must be read. They are all written in a different way but weaved to know better, to understand deeply, to love sincerely, to give advice in an up building way not deceitfully to share and to care for life in every aspect.

Look for every avenue you possibly can to learn a trade while still in school any trade can become the tool for survival. Pray incessantly hard not for money but for insight, understanding, wisdom and more so the tolerance to endure & finding the way out of the distress. In due time the prayers materialized will very well be the answer and the end to your trials and tribulation.

The quest for writing was always part of my life I all of the books and many more but never labeled them while the night are silent through the tears and pain I left behind in childhood. Each book is centered on each stages of my childhood but I spiced them all with activities to make it more appealing and readable with elements that are real things.Each publication was written in part two and three and are in the trash, the inspiration came alive immediately as I started to work as a pediatric infant care nurse, all of my one hundred babies are on special logged schedule, immediately after each feeding the babies go to sleep. The babies rekindle my writing skills deeply the babies empty my depression & filled my night with inner peace; the babies give me quality time to rewrite all of the lost manuscript, with the help of all the babies to day you are reading them. Some of the books are written on every day English, Fifty Poems are are written in a combination of clinical Poems, Tributary porm, Patriotic & philosophical poems and simple every day poems and still some more in songs ready to be sang.
